Early twenties: ten companions, each in the middle of building something
Ten companions between 22 and 24, each age checked in person against photo ID. The band is printed because guests ask about it, not because a number says much. What it describes is a stage of life: the years when a person is building something in earnest and talks about it with conviction.
So this view is sorted by the thing under construction. A portfolio, a practice, a craft, a trained ear or eye. Each one shapes the evening she suggests.

Building a portfolio
Luna photographs new productions and watches faces the way a director would; the Old Vic is her ground from Monday to Thursday, and she will want your honest review at the interval. Tiffany shoots street scenes around the City and times her glass of champagne to the moment the offices empty. Stacy works after dark without a flash, follows stand-up comedy closely, and rewrites the route as she goes.
Building a practice
Angelika plays tennis before work and crosses the river for a single new gallery room. Roxi trains as a boxer, listens to podcasts on the way to everything, and brings the same good-humoured competitiveness to a darts board near Liverpool Street. Jasmin dances salsa and is training her nose for perfume, which is why she notices exactly what the bartender reaches for.
Building a craft
Bianka, hazel eyed and softly spoken, rolls pasta by hand, holds opinions about sauce that she will happily share, and dresses in forties cuts; she listens more than she talks. Lea, auburn waves and a quiet voice, works in interiors and spends Saturdays at a potter's wheel, which explains the way she studies a theatre foyer before she studies the stage.
Tuning an ear, and an eye
Molly follows deep house closely and has a soft spot for old cars; her evenings begin at ten in Shoreditch and she knows exactly when to leave a room. Lucy runs by the river and reads the night sky, and she is one of the few in the gallery who is free in daylight.
How the band reads at a table
Opinions arrive quickly and get refined aloud. Plans are proposed rather than waited for. A second venue at ten is greeted as good news. Ask any of them what she is working on and give the answer a minute; it usually outlasts the first drink. None of it says anything about experience: these ten keep working diaries and exacting standards, and they hold to both.
What the band does not change
It carries no different fee, no different rules and no different standard of discretion. Guest details are confirmed a single time over WhatsApp and go no further, exactly as with every other booking. The band simply gathers ten people at one stage of life, the stage when a craft or a career is being shaped with real ambition.

Nothing here is priced differently: £250 an hour, £500 for two, and a night out between Shoreditch and Bankside at £700 for three hours.
