Blondes: four companions, each at home in a different light
Four blonde companions, and four shades that only agree with each other in a thumbnail. By the water the difference is plain. Golden, honey, caramel and a paler wave each catch the river light their own way, and each woman has found the hour of the day that flatters her mood as much as her colouring.
So this view runs by light rather than alphabet. Pick the hour you have free and the choice mostly makes itself.
Blondes, on the reel
4 companions share this detail on their profiles. Open a frame for everything else about her.
Noon on the water
Cindy keeps the brightest hours of anyone in the gallery. Long, loose blonde waves, blue eyes, 168 cm and slim, with the balance of somebody who sails and holds a yoga pose for fun. She is the one to book between lunch and sunset, when St Katharine Docks is all rigging and reflections and her film camera has already left the bag. Ninety minutes allows a loop of the basins; two hours leaves room for the bridge as the sky changes colour.
Sunset above Bishopsgate
Nancy wears the brightest gold of the four and the widest smile. Blue eyes, 170 cm, a curved frame dressed with confidence, and a swim before breakfast most days. Her light is the last of the daylight, seen from a table high above the City while the towers turn from silver to copper and then to lit glass. For a Friday or Saturday, ask her by Wednesday; midweek is usually open.
Lamplight in a coaching yard
Thea is caramel blonde and rarely bothers to tidy it, green eyed, 165 cm, back from a hill or a bike ride more often than not. Her light is the amber of old pub windows off Borough High Street, where a proper plate, a glass and an unforced conversation fill two hours without trying. She is the most relaxed name on this page and the least interested in ceremony.
Early light on a Sunday
Nora is honey blonde, hazel eyed, 166 cm, with the quick, athletic frame of someone who rarely sits still. She designs clothes, which shows in the way she wears them. Her light arrives early: a Saturday overnight in a Shoreditch hotel that ends among the flower stalls of Columbia Road the next morning. A day's notice suits her, and arrival evenings are welcome.
Shades, recorded as worn
Hair is noted the way it looks this month in ordinary daylight. Nancy's gold is the brightest, Cindy's the palest and loosest, Nora's honey sits between them, and Thea's caramel is the warmest of the four. Colour balance may be corrected in a portrait, but a shade is never changed, and when a colour changes with the season, her portraits are replaced.
Where the four reappear
Nancy and Thea also appear under curvaceous. Cindy stands under slim and slender, Nora under toned and athletic. By age, Nancy is the single blonde in thirties and beyond; the other three belong to the late twenties band. Four shades, then, and five other views that lead back to the same four women.
Booking one of the four
The time is priced here exactly as it is everywhere else in the gallery: £250 buys the first hour, £500 buys two, the dinner date is £900 and a night is £1,800. Her name, the hotel and a time, typed into WhatsApp or Telegram, is the whole of the request. The answer sets down the figure and an arrival time, and a plan dropped with three clear hours in hand costs nothing.
