With a duo, two companions share one evening with you. It suits a birthday dinner that deserves more company, a celebration after a deal closes, or simply a guest who likes a livelier table. They arrive together, stay together and leave together, and the evening is shaped around the three of you.
Each companion is booked on the ordinary ladder for the length you choose. For two hours, each is £500; for the four-hour dinner, each is £900. Nothing is discounted and nothing is added, and the full breakdown sits on the rates page. Both cabs are included anywhere in Zones 1 and 2.

Two names, or one and a suggestion
You can name both companions yourself, name one and ask the desk to pair her, or outline the evening in a line and leave both choices to the desk. What matters most is that the two suit each other as well as they suit you: a similar pace, a shared sense of humour, and ideally homes close enough together that they come east in a single cab. The desk only confirms a pairing that both women have agreed to, and it tells you straight away if one of them would rather not.
What the first message should carry
A duo takes a little more detail than a single booking, because two people are travelling and two diaries are being cleared. One message covering the following is enough, and the reply confirms both names, both arrival times and both fees in writing.
How a duo evening tends to go
The first half hour sets the tone. Two companions who get on well bring an easy momentum with them: a shared joke, a story one starts and the other finishes, a round of drinks ordered before you have found the menu. Most duo evenings begin at a table or a bar and move on from there, and the extra voice at the table means the conversation rarely stalls. If you would rather the evening stayed calm, say so, and the desk chooses two whose pace is slower.
Tables for three on either bank
A table for three is easy to find on this side of London. The larger restaurants in the towers of the City of London take groups without fuss, and in Southwark the busy dining rooms near the Tate and the Globe suit a lively table better than a hushed one. Bars are simpler still, since the rooftops of Shoreditch and the terraces along the river are made for groups. If the evening finishes at your hotel, mention it when you write, and both companions dress for its bar as well as for the restaurant.
If the evening is a celebration, tell the desk what is being celebrated. It changes the tone of the first ten minutes, and both companions arrive ready to raise a glass to it.
Pairings that make sense on paper
Molly and Jasmin both start late, both care about a properly made cocktail and both set out from Soho, so one cab brings them over the river. Angelika and Karolina are both tall and raven haired, and both love live music, jazz for one and opera for the other. Nancy and Nora, two blondes with bright manners, suit an early evening celebration with champagne. These are only starting points: any two companions who are free on the night and happy to be booked together can be.
Notice, timing and the close of the evening
Two diaries have to agree, so a duo is best requested in the afternoon for the same evening, or a day ahead for a Friday or Saturday. Both companions arrive at the agreed time, and the booking ends for both at once unless you extend it through the desk. If one of the two has to cancel, you hear immediately and choose whether to go ahead with one, pick a new pairing or cancel without any charge.
