Scent comes first with Jasmin. Before you notice the dress, you notice what she is wearing on her wrist, and she will ask whether you can guess it. At 160 cm she is petite and quick. Chestnut brown hair, long and straight, swings when she turns; brown eyes flick round a room taking everything in. Her evening style is boutique-hotel chic: a short silk slip dress, a cropped jacket, heels she can actually dance in.
She is bubbly, curious and quick to tease, and she enjoys being teased back. Conversation, in English, jumps from one subject to the next and somehow always lands somewhere interesting. Salsa is her weekly habit and she dances it well. Perfume is the collection, lined up on a shelf by season. Mixology is the obsession: she can tell you why a drink works, what is missing from one that does not, and how to fix it.
Late in the evening she heads for Callooh Callay on Rivington Street, one of Shoreditch's longest-running cocktail bars, where the menu changes with the seasons and the back room is worth finding. She sits at the bar rather than a table, so she can watch the bartenders work, and she learns every one of their names. Two rounds is her rule. After that the streets around Shoreditch are still busy, and she likes to walk off the second drink before choosing where the night goes next.
From Soho she reaches Shoreditch in about twenty minutes, and a request made after nine can often become a booking the same night. Glance at rates, then message booking with her name.
