Thea, back from the hills on the 22nd

Back on the 22nd, after a week on the trails, Thea will arrive with a fresh tan and a few new stories. She is 165 cm and curvy. Her caramel blonde hair is long and usually still a little windswept; her green eyes crease easily at the corners. Her style is sunlit natural glamour: a simple dress in a warm colour, a soft cardigan, trainers she swaps for heels at the last possible minute.

Cheerful and warm, she is about as down to earth as anyone you will meet in a hotel bar, and people relax around her within minutes. She speaks English with a ready laugh and a talent for turning small moments into good stories. Hiking is her escape, and she spends every free week on a trail somewhere. She cycles across London rather than taking cabs whenever she can. Japanese food is her favourite by a distance, and she knows a ramen counter in most neighbourhoods.

Her Borough evening is a supper at The George Inn, London's last galleried coaching inn, tucked into a yard off Borough High Street with creaking floors and wooden balconies above the courtyard. She calls it the most honest pub in the city. A glass of something, a hearty plate and conversation that runs easily. Afterwards Borough Market is shuttered and quiet, and the walk to a hotel near London Bridge takes five minutes.
